I would like to send you a series of emails
showing how simple it can be to produce a painting
Even if you have never painted before.

In this series of twelve emails (sent between 1, 2 or 3 days apart),
I’ll show you how I painted a landscape from blank canvas to finished painting in a loosely abstract style that you can adapt to paint any subject you like.

If you can draw or sketch it will always help but you don’t need extraordinary drawing skills to make a painting that you can be proud of.

If you enjoy yourself and paint as often as you can,
you will learn and grow.

You can’t expect to learn to paint without doing any painting, so get stuck in and give it a chance.

Don’t worry about the result, if you don’t like it, Do it Again!
You can easily paint over your first efforts, though I think it’s good to hold on to them for a while, if only to see how you progress.
Sometimes you can see how to improve them, later on.

Meanwhile, if you haven’t already, get some paints!
